General Orthopedics
General orthopedics includes any injury to bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves (i.e neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, foot pain, muscle strains, joint sprains, etc).
Pre & Post Surgical Care
Education around surgical procedures can help to minimize adverse effects of surgery—such as pain, swelling, loss of motion, muscle atrophy—and can help restore normal movement, flexibility and function. The goal is typically to return to pre-injury activity level or better.
Injury Recovery
BeWell will help you through the process of safely returning to your desired activity, guiding you with exercises and other tools (i.e. rest, hydration, sleep recommendations, etc) to help you achieve full recovery.
Caregiver Coaching
BeWell can instruct in techniques such as stretching/passive range of motion, positioning/postural education, safe exercises to employ, home modifications, fall prevention, gait belt use, walker/crutches/cane fitting and use, etc.
Balance & Mobility Training
BeWell can teach beginner, intermediate and advanced activities to improve balance to safely perform desired activities and minimize injury risk. We can also instruct in exercises and activities to restore or improve general or specific mobility to help decrease injury risk, pain and soreness while also helping to increase strength through a greater range of motion.
Cancer Care
BeWell can help to manage cancer-related issues resulting from the cancer itself or from cancer-fighting treatments. Addressing pain, numbness, difficulty moving or walking, fatigue, to help improve overall health, functional abilities, return to work, exercise programs and other activities.
